This applies to all facets of Amazon. Is there any way to create a search where ALL RESPONSES contain that word?
For example, I was looking for a Bluetooth oximeter. I received almost 300 items with only a handful having Bluetooth. It’s a huge waste of time and I’m likely to miss some actual hits. I used to design databases, and I know how simple it is to allow what I want. Amazon used to provide for keywords by using + and or - “ and even wildcard characters. Is there any way to do an advanced search with simple Boolean features?
in Kindle you have the same problem a search for John Ringo will return dozens of other authors and might not contain all of his works. Please help me. Shopping Amazon has become a huge hassle and not worth the effort.
unfortunately the Amazon search is rather primitive and easily exploited by those who list items on Amazon (publishers, self-published authors and third party sellers). A search looks for anything tagged with, in your case, oximeter anywhere in the product page. I have had good luck with using quotes thusly; "bluetooth oximeter" which brings up 21 items instead of the 249 results I receive without quotes. Drilling down to the correct category first helps too
