I have had this problem before. Usually i can get an amazon tech to call me but can't get there with the new menu. How do i speak to a human?
Very easy. Help>>Need More Help>>Contact Us (from this forum or any page on amazon.com). Select the phone or chat option for best results.
On the Contact Us page, pick the closest replies you can. They don't have to be correct or even close.
Try different chargers, USB cords, and even different wall sockets.
You can reset the charge/battery parameters with a reboot. While unplugged, hold the power button down for a full 20 seconds, ignoring any shut down message or device action.
