I cannot view Prime video on my all new internet/tv platform, Altice One from Suddenlink. After moving I decided to go from my DSL to cable internet. Using my Amazon Fire Stick I subscribed to DirectTV Now. The tv kept shutting off and getting hung up. Our other devices were still connected to the internet. So we decided to try this new platform Altice One. It is the Internet, modem, router, DVR. cable all in one box. There is no Amazon Prime app though there is a Netflix app. I don't want to put the Fire stick back on just to watch prime.
How can I watch Prime on my TV with this device?
Note: my ipad casted YouTube automatically to the tv when I was watching a movie on the new platform and using a pattern on YouTube. So it has this capability of connecting somehow. The cast option doesn't show up in the Amazon Prime Video App from my android or my ipad.
Does Amazon need to know that there needs to be an app? I've already expressed my displeasure to Suddenlink.
Is there some other work around without purchasing anything new?

Up to whoever makes that dingus to provide the apps. You need to talk to them. Amazon has nothing to do wit it other than providing the development tools for others to use and poissibly some licensing contracts to make sure things are done right.
Rule #1 for buying tech" Figure out what you want to do *before* you buy the equipment and make sure the equipment can do what you need it to do.
NOTE: I do NOT speak for or represent Amazon in any fashion. This is a customer to customer forum.

Altice One had met the most important of my criteria. Actually the person i ordered from said it would stream everything, Netflix and Prime. I can still watch it on other devices. I just think I should have the option on my TV. Suddenlink chat tells me it's up to Amazon to provide the app. Amazon help told me they would forward the info to the appropriate department. J. Penrose says it's up to the platform to get the app up there. There is probably a department that makes sure that Prime is available on any platform. It's a brand new platform for Suddenlink.
So I am going to quit working about it. I just thought there may be a back door because my ipad automatically started streaming YouTube on the tv when I was using it. It has a cast option only in YouTube. So the platform can accept casting from a mobile app without another device such as a chrome cast or fire stick. Overthinking it and it really doesn't matter.
Thanks for the input.

If all else fails, Amazon is 24/7 at https://www.amazon.com/contact-us
