the past several days, all of my kindle-format library book checkouts have failed on amazon's site.
the library sends me to the correct page at amazon.com to download the title. but when i click 'get library book,' on the amazon.com checkout page, the page reloads to a blank page whose url begins with "https://www.amazon.com/api/bifrost/acquisitions/v1/asins/," and instead of redirecting to the usual thank-you page (and actually delivering my library book), the browser stays there.
bifrost acquisitions api v.1 is apparently not working. like, TOTALLY DYSFUNCTIONAL.
this problem has been consistent for several days. i've reproduced the error at least twelve times. it occurs with books i've successfully checked out before, and books i've never checked out before.
please fix this. a kindle device people can't read library books on is not the kind of kindle folks need. :/
I'd suggest clearing the cache on the browser, making sure it is updated to the latest version, and signing out of Amazon then signing back in.

How to contact Amazon CS:
Use the HELP link at the bottom of any Amazon page, then NEED MORE HELP...then CONTACT US...and CONTACT US again...select CALL or CHAT. The Call option allows you to input your phone number, and they will call you. Don't use email, and don't Google for a phone number, the results are scam numbers.
