Bought a new Fire 10, build Nov.6, 2019. Downloaded a previosly played GameCircle supported app, War Robots, and opened it. I expected to see some kind of message telling me that an existing profile existed and to choose between loading the existing profile or continue with the new one. That never happened. So I attempted to log in to GameCircle through the in game lock to GameCircle profile button. All that did was tell me to log in to GameCircle before I could continue.
I uninstalled the app game and reinstalled it 5 times. Same occurance.
I completely reset my Fire 10 to factory specs 5 times.
I reset my modem 5 times.
I uninstalled the app game and reinstalled it several times again.
I factory speced my Fire, again.
I reset my modem, again.
I cannot access GameCircle at all with my Fire 10, not even with other GameCircle supported apps.
I called customer support 5 times. Each time they redirected me to app support. At no time would they give me the direct number to app support. Instead they put me on hold for 5-25 minutes at a time. And once an app support "technician" finally interacted with me they just sent me jumping through the exact same hoops that did not work for me solo several times each once again. In fact each time they did this they kept me on the phone for over an hour. Long enough for the battery in my home line portable phone to run dead.
I even attempted to use the support chat feature 3 times only to be put to task jumping through the same d*mn hoops as I did by myself and as bid by the phone "techs".
I feel as though I am being strung along purposely or that the "techs" actually do not know what to do to fix this problem.
Background. I own a 2013 Fire 6 and a 2018 Fire 10. Neither work anymore due to broken or worn USB charging ports. But I was able to play War Robots on both and GameCircle worked fine on each. I also own a new 2019 Fire 7 that the game plays on but not very well at all. But GameCircle still works. My GameCircle profile information loaded straight away upon downloading the game and opening it.
The same never happened with my brand new Fire 10 for any of the apps that I had previously played that are GameCircle supported. Not a one.
Has anyone else with a new Fire device encountered this problem of having GameCircle not work? If so have you been able to remedy the situation?
I hate the idea of returning this Fire for a refund but if I can't fix this issue I have no reason to keep it. I bought this Fire specifically to play the graphics intense games that my Fire 7 will not support properly.
You are not alone! Many of us War Robot guys, some since the game first started are stuck on our kindles to the point the game wont even play or function any longer. Kindle 8hd is already becoming obsolete as well with lag becoming terrible. So only abt 10% are having any success transfering from there Fire Kindle to a non Fire device like say Samsung or some kind of android device. I attempted what you already had, my results were when ever I attempt to log into game Circle account through my Amazon Kindle War robot menue etc it did does bad things, it caused my profile to detach from my device so wont even function properly. Have you attempted through game circle to transfer game onto another Android OS device yet? I did attempt this several times correctly might I say but would not restore my progress. Cnet gives excellent step by step instructions on how to transfer using , first down loading the Amazon App store App onto an android device, logging into Amazon account, then using game circle to sync, logging into your Amazon acct etc. didnt work for me though it shows my progress has been saved to Game Circle yet nothin happens when attempted. Others say they are unable as well to transfer progress onto new 2019 version Kindle 10. The real mystery is this, why are some players reporting, and very few that are might I say, are able to transfer from kindle 7 and 8 to other devices that run Android OS? In my case I have the correct android etc everything running, tweak everything but no go through game circle. Those who been playing through Google Play or FB game room will likely have super success, but not game Circle. I will post any new info I get when if I hear of a fix.
Hey Kolob, Im trying to figure this out currently also. Havent been able to play much lately because of 8hd performance but I recently got a 10 but cant log into the gamecircle. will update as I'm able. Please convey to RT. thanks, appeltjacks07
I'm just going to return this Fire 10 for a full refund with the complaint that it will not sync to GameCircle. I don't need it if it does not do exactly what I expected it to do.
I just had my 2014 Fire 6 and previous version 2018 Fire 10 repaired because of port damage. But both are still running GameCircle just fine and on the same account to boot. Surprisingly the Fire 6 works far better with War Robots than the 2018 Fire 10.
My Fire 7 is now just a useless paperweight. I'll more than likely return it as well or donate it to my local library.
