Same issue here! I thought I was losing my mind, not glad to see that we’re all having this annoyance but at least we know it’s a problem now! Hopefully a developed that actually knows how to fix the problem
I’m happy to know I’m not the only one. Maybe the heart button will improve. But I did have some issues with drag and drop. Like dragging and the item vanishing as if I didn’t just throw it in my list. However, who ever posted the heart post, thank you! I’ve been having this issue since June when I updated. Put us in notice next time Amazon
I've been having the same issue! I left feed back... Here is what I sent.
This feed back is concerning the Amazon Shopping App. The feature, "Wish List Tray," Or maybe it goes by a different name...? In any case, it was a feature that allowed for a mini tray along the bottom of the screen that provided a quick look at the first few items in your wish list. In addition, you could find a desired item through search, and press and hold the item's picture. Then the item would be picked up by your finger and you could guide it down toward the tray and place it there. What a great feature!! So convenient! So handy! So wonderful! To my dismay it disappeared and I couldn't find a way of getting it back. I went online to see if could find some trouble shooting advice. I ended up finding a forum of countless other Amazon customers who were having the same problem. No one was getting any answers as to how to get the tray back. An Amazon employee left a comment that the best thing to do would be to tap on the app menu, aka the 3 lines at the top left of the screen, or in the item screen, to scroll down and tap, "add to list." WHAT A PAIN! And time consuming!! Along with that employees comment, it said to leave FEEDBACK. So here I am. Leaving feedback! Please return the wish list tray! I don't know if it was removed altogether, or maybe it's a glitch included with the most recent app update? Either way, it's an unfortunate occurrence and needs to be rectified. I know im crazy but knowing that I'm not any crazier thinking I'm the only one with this problem is a relief, LOL. Ive had this problem for about 3wks now on my android. Very aggravating. We need this back AMAZON please fix asap!!!
If removing the list tray increases our usability and satisfaction and money/value optimization research but lowers their bottom line, a self serving company wouldn’t want project teams to prioritize fixing or bringing back that feature.
Maybe only super users discovered the function but are those the ones that are shopping more? The user experience of organizing your lists and adding items to different ones from the heart on the image is much more limited and inaccessible. But maybe amazon doesn’t want us to organize things well, plan for what we want to buy, and to do proper research to save money. If it’s a frustrating interface, maybe they think we’ll just resort to buying what they suggest even if it’s not the lowest price or not exactly what I’m looking for. I’ll just have to waste everyone’s time and money by returning items.
You guys can download the Amazon Underground app I still has the drag and drop Wish List feature. They stopped updating it a month or 2 ago but it's no different from the normal Amazon app in the appstore. You can only download the Amazon Underground app online.
Trying to figure out the same issue. Except a few weeks before it disappeared I contacted Amazon because it had been glitching for 2 months. I'd try to save to one list dragging and dropping but it'd save onto another list. It had never had glitches before but started randomly saving to the wrong list. Then I went to use the wishlist tray recently and couldn't find it either. I hope they can fix the issue and didn't take the feature away because it's more convenient and a major time saver. I'm going to try contacting support today to see. Last night I got transferred to three different people.
