Let me join you all. Been having the same issue for last 2 weeks. I have hidden the list and can't unhide it! Tried everything thought. I am on samsung btw. Cleared database, cache, reinstalled the app, even signed out and signed in with my gf another login as it still works on her phone. Nothing is working to bring it back. Rang amazon customer service and after being transferred 9 times, I have been told that my case will be reported and the issue should be fixed within 24 hours. That was 72 hours ago... I have even emailed app development team. So far the only fix is to wipe your phone I guess! Or get a new one lol.
I’m on an iPad and hadn’t done any updates to the Amazon app any time recently. But this feature disappeared all of a sudden, and I thought I must have accidentally clicked some setting. I even read somewhere that pressing and holding the image would bring the wish list bar back, but that never worked. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and was still having the same issue. I emailed them about it a few days ago and never heard back. It’s frustrating to see that so many other people are getting ignored too. The LEAST Amazon customer service can do is respond to customers and just tell us if the feature isn’t available anymore.
So, it looks like they are doing this thing called “hearts” now. If you bring up a product page there should be a heart next to the main image. If you click on the heart and click on the list that pops up your tray will briefly show. Still is not as convenient as the whole click and drag shopping tray that was previously implied, but it’s something i guess.
I still have the tray on my fire tablet it just not on my phone. I updated the app then nothing it still did not work. Talking to Amazon about it was a waste because they don't even shop on Amazon so they don't understand what we are talking about. So I when I tried to uninstall the app it didn't erase all the way it must uninstall the last updates anyhow my tray is now back!!!
I’ve been having the same exact issue. I contacted Amazon Support and they still haven’t gotten back to me yet on the issue. I shop on Amazon a lot and this big/problem is a huge inconvenience to me. I really wish they’d fix the problem
Apparently they took this feature out of the app and it looks like this is true for both Droid and the iPhone.
The only way this is going to get fixed is if everybody takes a minute to give feedback to Amazon in the right way. In the app click on the three lines, customer service, contact us, send feedback. Let them know that you not only miss the future but that it will FORCE YOU TO SHOP ELSEWHERE because of it. If their bottom line is threatened, they will add the feature back in but only if enough people do it.
I just tried to "heart" an item as one the previous folks mentioned and it worked. As soon as i "hearted" the item, a little confirmation expanded to let me know it was saved to my default wishlist. Not as easy or satisfying as the drag and drop, i'd still prefer to do this without having to click in to the item, but it'll do for now.
Having the same issue with the app, the list tray was very convenient and takes less time then to have to load up the next page then the one after to get it into the list you want. Then to have to go back and have to rescroll down to where you were. It's just annoying .-. Wish this could be fixed
