I’m having the exact same problem, for about the same amount of time. iPhone X, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times to no avail. I also can access my lists through the standard means, but really want the quick tray back.
I have sat through a half hour of chat with amazon's customer service... only to have the information forwarded to their "app team" or some garbage like that. I was told to expect an email from them in the next 1-2 business days. I'll post an update once I find something out from them.
I’m with you on this! Marksman1122, thank you for sitting through chat! Hopefully they help you and I’m so glad you are willing to share the response with us! I’ve been having the trouble for at least 3 weeks. I just thought it was my phone acting up!
I am having this problem too. I used to be able to just hold down on an item and the list would tray would pop back up at the bottom. Now nothing works to get it to show back up. I hope a solution is found soon.
I have contacted amazon support three times trying to get help with this issue and no luck. The people that you first get to seem completely clueless and like they have never heard about the wishlist tray before! I have been passed along to “app support” but it took so long to get to that point and I had to leave for an appointment.
This problem first started after I did a recent app update. I never hid the tray-it just was gone after the update and I can no longer drag and drop to bring it back. Holding down and item just makes the screen scroll and when I let go it acts like I clicked on the item.
Obviously a lot of people are experiencing this same issue and for some reason amazon support isn’t addressing it. Notice how the staff member stopped responding to the original post without having provided an actual solution. 😡
I am sorry the Wish List Tray is for you all not available anymore.
We are always working to improve our products and would love to hear this feedback. You can leave feedback here, or directly on the Amazon app, go to the three lines on the left side, Customer Service, Contact Us, Provide Feedback for the app.
I thought I was going crazy trying to figure out how I hid or deactivated the list tray. Good to at least find out it's not me. I miss it. But seeing the "Amazon Staff" response, it doesn't look like it'll be back anytime soon. Responding diplomatically is one thing, but a staff "duh, I dunno" level of response is......well.....duh, I just dunno.
