Which specific Amazon app are you asking about? Are you talking about the camera option in the Shopping app? If so, make sure both your device and the app are up to date. Does your device have a front or back camera, or both?

I'm having the same problem for my S8 Active using the Amazon Underground shopping app. My app and phone are up to date but the AR View does not show up as an icon when Im in the Camera search mode. Any ideas?
Looks like the Samsung S8 Active (SM-G892A) is not supported although my device model does not end with an 0 or 8. I guess it's not surprising as the Samsung Gear VR is also not supported for this model. However the Bixby vision works fine in the camera app. I will contact Amazon tech support and see what they have to say.
