I have been trying to set up my ring doorbell so when its pressed it will show up on my TV using firestick but need to change the channel to display my camera.
Welcome to the Forums! Here are a few tips that may help you with your issue!
Your TV will not automatically turn on when doorbell rings. However, when you connect a compatible smart home camera to Alexa, you can access the live camera feed directly on your Fire TV device via voice command. To do this, you first need to link your Alexa device to your Fire TV. After you complete setup for your camera and connect it to your Wi-Fi network, you can link it to Alexa in the Alexa app. You can then use Alexa to stream the live feed for your camera.
You need to use the name you specified for the camera during setup--here are some examples of things you can say: "Show (camera name)" "Show the (camera name) camera" Alexa responds to confirm your request and switch over to the live camera feed. Once you're done watching, just tell Alexa to hide your camera. You can say: "Hide (camera name)" "Stop the (camera name) camera" "Stop" "Go home" .
You can also press the "Back" button on your Fire TV remote to exit from the feed and return to the previous screen.
The camera feed stops automatically, whenever you use your voice to open a different Alexa feature as well. You can Switch input channels by asking Alexa to "Switch to [device / input]." "Change to [device / input]." For Changing TV Channels Go to [channel / network]."Alexa" "Tune to [channel / network]." "Change to [channel / network]."
