When I chose a bulb (TP-link color bulb and a Magic Light color bulb) as the device to control thru the routine, I can select Power on or off, Brightness up or down in %, but when i go to Set Color and chose select, all i see is the various white options from cool to soft and 2 reds, red and crimson. Once I was able to see all the color choices, but that was only once and I cannot seem to repeat what I did. Is there a trick to getting the app to display all color choices when selecting a color? It is not working with any color bulb I have. I have the latest Alexa app on my Android Moto E4 phone.
But when I open the bulb in Alexa under devices (i.e. opening the actual bulb in Alexa), I get full color control. So it is something that is happening just in the Routines set up for color control. And it is with 2 different bulb manufactures and 2 different skill links. The bulbs get full color control in their respective apps and full color control in Alexa when changing them from inside Smart Home devices and groups, but do not have full color control when trying to set the bulbs up as a routine (see pic link above)
Did discover a work around. When selecting a color for the first time all I was getting were the various Temps of white and red and crimson. (see attachment above). Found if I chose the last avaliable color (crimson), save, and then chose change color, magically all colors are then available.
