Yes, it’s the Amazon Cloudcam. The camera works and connects to the Amazon Cloudcam app just fine. It will also connect to the Amazon Alexa app on my phone. The problem appears to only be with the Amazon Show. The voice command is broken somehow.
Same problem . I had an amazon cloud cam open on my echo show, when i tried to switch to another cloud cam, alexa said 'sorry, cameras don't work on this device'. All devices are up to date, and i actually was watching the camera on the show until i tried to open another camera. I have 3 cameras. None display on the echo.
I'm having the same problem with my show and ring cameras. They all worked fine this morning. The cameras work fine through the ring app but the something today broke watching them through the show. I factory reset it and deleted and brought back the cameras. Still refusing to show my cameras.
Works better this morning but if you have different devices with the same name it is broken. Such as a light called front door and a camera called front door. This has worked fine for months and now it is broken.
Hello. My Nest cam and my Ring outdoor cams no long working on echo show. It says the camera isn't responding. It works on my computer and my phone. Whats the answer here? How much longer am I going to have to wait on amazon to fix whatever mistake they made. These are security camera. If they don't work properly then I have no security do I? Can I just return my three echo shows and have my money back? I suppose it's never to late to go Google. Is there someone here from amazon who has any information that isn't some lame excuse for incompetence? I'm just dying to here from you.
Nobledane, Got the same problem. I have 9 Echo Shows, Versions 1 & 2, 2 Fire TVs and 1 Fire 4k stick. Yesterday, they ALL stopped showing my Nest camera feeds. When I say, show the carpark or playground or any other of my cameras, they used to say "Ok"; and show the camera. Now they say, "Ok" and appear to be trying to but after several seconds of pulsing a blurred image of the last time it worked, it stops and tells me the camera is not responding. This is not a Nest problem. All cameras work fine on my Samsung S8, Tab S3, computers, and Google Home. It even works on both Fire 10 tablets but only using the Nest app, not in Show Mode. I consistently get between 500-650 Mbps thru my fiber connection, so weak signal is not a problem. I have rebooted the router, disabled and re-enabled the Skill, unplugged and re-plugged each device, unplugged and re-plugged each camera and checked for updates for Alexa and every other device. Nothing. Every other function of my devices work fine. Internet search and, now you, tell me this is not just my equipment but theirs.
E-mail support said, call phone support. I did and they hung up twice. Opened chat and after explaining 4-5 times, he issued a support ticket to higher up and assured me it would be fixed within 24 hours.
