I just got the Cloud Cam. Live view works on my cell phone app, but when I go to the computer I can only see the recorded videos most of the time. Sometimes I can get it to work, but I am not sure just what I did to get it to work. All I get is a blank screen. I can see the recorded videos, but not the live view. Using Firefox.
Meya, perhaps you have not read the materials. It is part of the item description that you can go to https://cloudcam.amazon.com to both watch your recorded videos and to use the live view. The app on my phone does work. My issue is when I use a conventional computer browser to visit the web site. I don't want to use up my cell phone data to watch trees swaying in the wind. I have it working at them moment, but I still don't know just how I got it to work. It seems that I have to do something in the app on the phone and try the browser again.
Maybe this problem will go away, but what I have to do is click on the "Hello Bob" and then click on "Live View". I wait up to 10 seconds and if it does not load I repeat those steps until it does load. Tedious. I also find that it seems to limit how many clips I play from the history. It just refuses to play. Maybe it's a bad day at the Amazon Cloud.
We have been using a Cloud Cam Security Camera (https://www.amazon.com/Introducing-Amazon-Cloud-Cam/dp/B01C4UY0JK/) at my office for almost a year now without any problems. About a week ago we stopped being able to access the Cloud Cam Live View (https://cloudcam.amazon.com/) on any Windows 10 PC using a Google Chrome browser (whether or not they are located on the same WiFi network). We get an error message that "An unexpected error has occurred." I am still able to access the Cloud Cam using a different browser (e.g., MS Edge) or using my Kindle Fire HD. Any suggestions?
