Numerous users are complaining about robust Alexa device connection failures with these CNCT SmartHome plugs.
Would like to better understand if the likely issue is with the device (plug) hardware(WiFi), with the Alexa Echo compatibilityor the Home WiFi router/gateway settings (via 2.4Ghz).
Specifically, does the device manufacturer work closely with Amazon Alexa support team to "validate" robust specifications and WiFi connectivity within the SmartHome?
Can Amazon Alexa support team offer SmartHome user support with possible solutions such as router or IP config changes to solve ongoing device connection drop-offs?
I have multiple Alexa-enabled WiFi plugs - all will work w/o error for 1~2 days before suddenly having Alexa no longer be able to find the established devices (tested both individually and in groups). I'm searching for trouble-shooting support options..............
I think it’d be best for you to speak to a specialist. (Amazon actually has specialists; I just spoke to one last night about Amazon Drive). On the Alexa app, tap Help & Feedback, scroll down to Call Customer Service, fill out the problem. They will call you almost immediately and help troubleshoot the problem.
