even if I go into manage my content and send them again, they just never come. The only way I can get them is if I use the search function on the voyage and download them from the device. My software is up to date and I tried a hard reset. This is the voyage released in 2014, but my paperwhite from 2012 is still working fine, so I don’t know what’s up with this one. Anyone have any ideas why it isn’t receiving content all the sudden. I sent a book to the paperwhite just to check and there were no problems with that one.
I typed out a reply and it disappeared. Anyway I have a paperwhite also and my sisters is on my account too. My voyage is set as my default device. I already checked that. A couple times it got changed, not sure how. Also I just got another book and sent it to my voyage and I noticed on the page after you buy, it said open kindle for iPhone. I remembered I put it on my phone a few weeks ago while sitting in the hospital waiting room. anyway, I checked the voyage, no book. I opened kindle for iPhone and the book wasn’t there, but I didn’t think it would be, no other books were, but when I checked my voyage again, the book was there. Not sure if it had something to do with the kindle for iPhone or what. I may get rid of the app for now and see. I’ve only had the app a few weeks. Thanks for the tip about sorting.
Since you can at any time download books by the method I mentioned above, I wouldn't worry. Just check from time to time to make sure you've downloaded recent books. If your sister is registered to your account, she could change the default device and if a book is not formatted for a Kindle, but is formatted for an iPhone app, it will just go to the app
