I want to read a couple of my older kindle books (one purchased in 2014 and one in 2016). They don’t come up as being in my library when I do a search on my kindle but when I go to the item in the store portion of the search, they both show as being purchased and i’m given the message to “go to library“. However, when I click on the “go to library” button, I get the following message:
Book Unavailable. The book is currently unavailable. Please try again at a later time. If the problem persists, please contact Kindle Customer Service at www.amazon.com/devicesupport.
none of the support options at that location location seemed to address this issue — anyone have a solution? I have a 2nd generation paperwhite, and a 1st and 2nd gen oasis. All are updated and all have the same issue.
have you tried going to the Your Content and Devices page on the Amazon website (under the upper right menu), logging in and seeing if the book is listed there? If it's not there, there are two possibilities:
1. you or someone registered to your account deleted it
2 you had another account at one time and purchased the book using that account
If it is there, use the Actions button [...] to deliver the book to your Kindle. This works even though the book is not listed as being for sale on Amazon.
NOTE: I do NOT speak for or represent Amazon in any fashion. This is a customer to customer forum.
