When I try to open a book I get a message saying "The item you were reading has been removed and is not longer available on your Kindle". I didn't remove any items and I can't seem to get them to re-download. I don't know what happened. This is my 3rd Kindle that's broken in a very, very short time; I'm over it. Please advise.
Have you tried restarting your Kindle by holding the power button in for no less than 40 seconds before releasing it?
Have you gone to "Manage Your Content and Devices" on the website? Are all your books listed there? Is your Kindle listed under devices?
Don't forget that you can always contact Customer Service for immediate help. Click on Help at the top or bottom of an Amazon page, select "Need More Help?" and then "Contact Us". Avoid the email option and select either Phone or Chat.
