no, there is not, but that could be for anything: Prime, Kindle Unlimited, sending a Kindle personal document via 3G, receiving a Kindle subscription via 3G outside your country, or simply purchasing a book from Amazon.
2 out of the last 3 books I purchased showed up as "Kindle Svcs" followed by a bunch of numbers, the other one says "AMZN Digital" followed by a similar string of numbers.
Go to the Your Orders option on the Amazon website where you last purchased kindle books, and check you orders there (it may be necessary to click on Digital Orders)
Amazon has never charged for it's helps as far as I am aware - anywhere in the world! I don't know where you go that number because Amazon does not publish it's numbers. It's always as a "call back" feature when you go through the Contact Us procedure.
Chat has never charged. If there is any charge, it's would be as a dialup with your ISP and that's not Amazon charging, it's the ISP!

OC, this is what my last Amazon charges for books look like (I have changed identifying numbers to something else like XXX
Kindle SvcsXXXXXXXX1 866-321-8851 WA $2.99 AMZN DigitalXXXXXXXX2 888-802-3080 WA $1.99 Kindle SvcsXXXXXXXX3 866-321-8851 WA $1.20
1st one was for The Time Traveler's Almanac: A Time Travel Anthology 2nd listing was for Chronicles of the Black Company and the third was for Zodiac
I suspect that number is something coming from Amazon when they charge your account. On my computer where I used to work, since email, the internet and my phone were all linked, that phone number was a number I could have called. I doubt it's Customer Service, just a corporate business number.

Amazon does have numbers on the website right now. Unfortunately, for some reason, customers giving them to other customers is frowned upon on the forum so it'll take a bit of looking for people to find them.

Can someone advise if there is a charge when you use the CHAT facility to get help. I have an entry on my Visa.
I have been unable to find this information and any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I am located in New Zealand.
