We just went to Mexico where I was able to access my books. I tried to download a few books for the plane ride home, but when I opened my Kindle on the plane they weren't there. When we got back to the US, I went back to the store and it said the books were in my library, but they aren't. When I try to access the books I originally purchased from the store, I get a message saying Book Unavailable. So far, every time I go to the kindle store, it says it's updating my kindle experience.. So, then, I tried opening older books and I get a message saying "Item not available" and it's no longer available on my kindle. I checked my country settings, and it's all US. Any ideas?

I had the same problem also. I recharged my Oasis (first gen) last night and none of my books were on it this morning. I’ve restarted/rebooted it several times and they have not magically reappeared. I can see them in the “ALL” tab and can download them. My question is am I stuck downloading them all again, or is there something I can do to have them reappear again the way they were?
