No error message. It appears to send, like always, but never shows up. I tried sending it to my Oasis 2 and my Voyage from the send to Kindle app on my PC and from my iPhone. It’s a mobi file. I’ve sent thousands of documents this way, so I don’t know why it stopped working all of a sudden. I also tried sending it as an attachment with my Kindle Oasis email and it does come back saying it cannot be sent. I tried sending a mobi file that I previously sent with no issue and it comes back as well. Leads me to believe it’s on Amazon’s end, since I can’t send anything from my iPhone either.
Have you looked in your Manage Your Content and Devices page to see if it's listed in the Content section? Select the "Docs" filter from the drop-down box at the top of the page. If it's there, send it to your devices from that page.

Seems like there have been random reports of this not working. I've seen them here and on Mobile Read. Last time I tried to send a book from Calibre using the @Kindle email it didn't work for me either.
Yes, I checked to see if it’s in my docs library, but it never shows up there either. I do have the settings on Send to Kindle set so docs are saved to my library. My other ones are there but not the ones I have tried to send since this issue started.
I did try emailing the doc as well. It came back as there being a problem sending it. I tried emailing a doc that previously sent just fine and it came back as well, which makes me think it’s an issue with Amazon.
So, that proves it’s an Amazon issue. I wish they would get this fixed.
Then why and how did it work for me?
I just sent yet another mobi file from gutenberg.org to my kindle via email (no subject line and no body) and it arrived within less than a minute. I did it with my Kindle Paperwhite and it worked just fine, however, I did not use the Convert option.
AO3 Status @AO3_Status on Aug 9th We've been getting reports about issues with transferring MOBI files to Kindle devices and have been looking into potential causes. There have been no changes to downloads on our end in recent memory, so we're unofficially blaming Amazon. Still looking though!
The main issue seems to be Amazon not recognizing our works as valid MOBI files (for some reason). You can still transfer them directly from your computer, instead of emailing them or using the "send to Kindle" option.
We've spoken with Amazon, and they say their technical team is working on it and it "should be resolved in 24 hours." We'll keep you updated!
that sounds more like it's a problem on their end. I also went to the Humble Bundle and sent a book to my Kindle, received the following message:
Successfully sent eBooks to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be patient, it may be a few minutes before the eBooks will show up in your Kindle account.
and it showed up within a few minutes and this appeared in my email:
Hello from Amazon.com, has sent the following document to your free Personal Document Service account ("name"@free.kindle.com): Dhalgren.azw3
You can download this document to your computer by logging into your Amazon.com account and clicking on the link below: Dhalgren.azw3 You can then transfer the document to your Kindle through the USB cable. We have also archived your document in your Kindle Library. For more information about archiving personal documents, visit http://www.amazon.com/kindlepersonaldocuments/
I then did the same at Baen where their send to email did not work, but i downloaded the book and emailed it to my "name"@kindle.com email address. it did not download, but all I needed to do was sync my device, change Downloaded to All and select it and it downloaded.
Three out of 4 with no problems (2 from Gutenberg, one from Humble and 1 from Baen) and it didn't take sideloading with the problem book.
