I'm trying to import collections from my Kindle Paperwhite to my Mac desktop but there are no devices available in the dialogue box (see pic) - has anyone else had this problem? I couldn't find any threads on it although a few appeared in my initial Google search.
They will import collections (extremely badly, I might say) but only from an older version of a similar device on your account. I wouldn't do it. It causes more of a mess even if one is available. Since you're not seeing any devices, I infer that this is your first installation of this type. You'll have to manually create your collections based on other devices and populate them manually.

Note: Collections created on devices or apps that support Cloud Collections cannot be imported to devices and apps that do not support Cloud Collections. Any existing collections you’ve created on non-supported devices will not change and will not be available in the Cloud.
