I really wanna get one of these tablets because they seem super dope, I'm mainly gonna use it for watching movies and reading manga. Just wanted to get current owners opinions on how the display looks, because I don't wanna get it and then be disappointed with the quality.
If you want a “perfect” screen then a iPad beckons (don’t look at the price)
At $249 currently on Amazon (although it may go up after today), it isn't that shocking, but if one dropped it and broke that beautiful screen, they would certainly be more likely to break down in tears than if they dropped a $50 Fire and did the same. I understand the iPad Pro displays are better still than that "basic" 10.2" iPad, but those will definitely give most people sticker shock.
I really like my iPad Air 2 display (even if it is long out dated) and when my Kindle DX (unfortunately discontinued) fell off the table and hit the chair on the cruise ship which broke its screen, I switched to my Kindle app on the iPad for the remainder of the cruise. Upon returning home, I purchased the previous generation (version 9) Oasis 7 inch E-Reader for $149 ( $200 off ) which is a lot cheaper than my iPad replacement would cost that I use for my flying application. What is good enough is up to you and your perceptions. Yes my next television will be a 4K HD television;; however, my ten year old Sony at 1080p presents a nice enough image to offset any desire to discard my ten year old Sony.
