I have a Firestick 4K with the Ethernet adapter so it is hard wired CAT5 to my router. I am finding that while watching streaming video (Hulu) i may have to pause my stream for a bit. sometimes up to an hour. When i return to the tv, i get a message that the firestick has lost connection and it is giving me options to connect to my WIRELESS network.
Has anyone else encountered this?
Fixes i have tried and work: Unplug Firestick and replug in. Unplug CAT 5 cable and plug back in.
Stick has the latest firmware.
Otherwise, while watching the stick and using streaming video (no long pause) the connection is stable (Wired).

Hi Paul D.,
Welcome to the forum! Are you using the adapter made by Amazon or a third-party device? If using a third-party adapter, try the one from Amazon instead. Does this happen with all apps or only certain ones? Check your router settings as well to see if any adjustments can be made so the connection doesn't time out.
