It's been about a month now since this has started..... I use a 4K Fire Box, have a 1 Gbps cable modem, wireless AC 1900 router...
the 4K box is plugged directly into a wall receptacle...
now while watching ATT TV live I'll get a quick buffer icon showing then a skip.. it will stay skipping and repeating.. I go to the program guide, change the channel and everything is OK for awhile then it starts skipping again....
ATT and my internet provider can't find anything wrong so that leaves my Amazon box.....
this has NEVER been a problem before... I've done the uninstall/reinstall routine....

Hi, aksotar and welcome to the forums!
I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with your Fire TV device.
Have you tried restarting your device and also your modem and router to see if that helps?
To restart your device, press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons at the same time, for five seconds. Or, select Settings > Device > Restart from the Fire TV menu.
You can also disconnect the power cord from the back of the device or from the power outlet, then plug it back in.
Are you using the original power adapter that came with your device?
Have you tried using a different HDMI cable and/or a different HDMI port on your television?
Please let us know if this helps, or if not, what other troubleshooting steps you've taken.
I have seen many people having issues with ATT Live.
It appears that ATT need to address the issue, as it is up to the Apps Developers to keep up with there product and the compatibility with the platforms they operate on.

Same issue...I have a 4K and a regular Fire Stick and the skipping started on both devices on the same day. Ugh...
This seems to have worked for both of my devices.
Thanks!

Spoke too soon, it’s doing it again.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that, SFchemo!
Let's try doing a factory reset on your device to see if that will resolve the issue for good.
A factory reset of your device removes all downloaded content including in-app purchases.
Please keep me posted!
