A few weeks ago, we suddenly got a message saying TV was critically low on storage and we were to delete at least 500mb. Well we didn't even have that much in there so that was a head scratcher. We did the force stop, delete data and clear cache on all apps ( most forced apps from amazon.
Now, we get the message numerous times while viewing. It seems to have started with an update but I am sure that will be denied. So. He we are with a capacity of 4.23 GB but only 370 mb available. This with maybe a couple MB of apps.
Tried calling customer service a couple times. Nice but too hard to deal with the communication barrier at times. Googling the issue finds quite a number of people suffering from having to reset to factory constantly which shouldn't be the only way to solve the problem.
All this being said....is there a solution or do we have a huge 1 year old paper weight?
Yes, we did all that. We even talked with the help folks that didn't help. I have yet in the forums found anyone who has given a decent explanation or fix besides having to do factory reset every so often. I am pretty sure it could be done with a software fix.
I had the same error message yesterday. Went through each individual application deleting the cache and data. Didn't even appear to make a dent in the overall storage capacity. There was nothing left for me to remove so finally had to do a factory reset to fix the problem but now I have to go back and reinstall everything. There must be a simpler way....
