I downloaded the Paramount Network app from Firestick and watched season one of Yellowstone with no problems. I watched Season 2 Episode 1 with no problems. When I went to watch season 2 episode 2 Paramount is asking me to select a provider. The provider is Amazon which is not on their list. Can't figure out what went wrong or changed. I uninstalled the app and reloaded it and it does the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
amazon does not control what paramount does on their channel. contact your service provider if yous in not on the list. sometimes smaller service providers is really a part of a larger one and you can use that name.
I dont mind paying for the app or channel but it only gives me option to input provider which i dont have
Do you only access TV channels by OTA antenna and streaming? If so you don't have a qualifying provider for TV service but you obviously do have internet service through a provider so if your internet service is through one of the companies that also has TV choosing that company as your service provider might work. Otherwise you might just have to wait a week to watch the newest episode or however long it is that Paramount network holds back the most recent episode for free viewing.
The other option is going to the Paramount network's internet page to see what the options are for adding it to your streaming channels, there might be a subscription fee involved but they should have directions on how to access their streaming content.
I put in my provider and then it asked for user and password which I provided . Now I get the message
” please contact your TV provider and subscribe to a TV package that includes paramount network or if you feel you receive this message in error .” When I called my provider they said they didn’t know anything about fire stick and had never gotten a call like this .
Paramount are jerks. You have to have a server but they don't have them all. i.e. They have no agreement with xfinity so xfinity users can only watch it at home or on THEIR mobile app. Since it's a channel that only comes with a paid tv subscription, not antenna, that's why they require you to log in with it. Right now they only allow the most recent episode to be viewed so no binging....jerks!
I have noticed that options for apps/movies etc. may change as frequently as daily. One series of movies my wife and I were watching for free for a month started charging and the following week it went back to free.
