I just replaced my old Fire TV box with two new Fire TV sticks so my wife can watch her Korean shows on Viki app. Thought I could make one stick totally Korean. How can there be no Korean language option? Netflix has two Korean language options, a company of 100x less value than Amazon. Where is Amazon's globalism?
This is a customer to customer forum. You'd have to contact Amazon directly to demand answers to why they do or do not do certain things.
There's a couple of hundred languages that a Fire Stick does not use.
Since stuff sold on amazon.com is meant for the North American market, I'd presume there's just not enough demand. Wikipedia says there;'a barely over a million Korean speakers in the US out of over 300,000,000 population. More native Tagalog speakers in fact by a large percentage and they don't do Tagalog either.
Each ethnic or language group thinks theirs is super important if not a dominant world language and should be supported.
NOTE: I do NOT speak for or represent Amazon in any fashion. This is a customer to customer forum.
