I have been unable to find a solution to this situation. Since the 4K Fire cube puts out such amazing sound via HDMI, I confess at times I enjoy listening at higher volume levels to enjoy the clarity.
The problem becomes when I ask our amiable hostess to play a different song or artist--and the voice level of the Alexa reply is almost deafening. Is there a way I can cut the Alexa voice input to around 25% to 50% and maintain the db level for the music?
I don't think i really understand this. Everything i own responds to the volume it was last set at. My car radio on the way home is blaring music and when i stagger in the car 1/2 awake at 6 the next morning and turn on the car the music is still blaring and i am now fully awake. Clock radio/tv same way. Back in the day the stereo and mp3/ipod. Actually on my computer as well i just had to turn down the volume today. The echo works the same way. Only it is much easier to yell volume 6 than race over and try to find a button or remote etc. A lot of people have this complaint--if you search the forums-- but i just don't get it.
