2. Select "Device," and then scroll to the bottom of the list.
3. Select "Reset to Factory Defaults," and then confirm that you want to reset your device.
You can also Factory Reset your device by pressing and holding the back button and right on the navigation ring for a full 20 seconds. This prompts you to cancel the reset, to wait for the reset to happen automatically, or choose to go ahead and reset without waiting on the timer.

My Amazon Fire (Gen 2) worked beautifully yesterday. Today the remote isn't working. I replaced the batteries. I unluged the stick from the electrical outlet then replugged it. I checked the connection from the electrical plug to the fire stick and moved it from the HDMI port 1 to port 2. Now I get a picture (Amazon screen pix now). Using the app from my phone, I see the home menu and can move from movies, to TV shows, to APPs. The select feature from the phone doesn't work. The actual Amazon Fire remote is not working at all (again, worked perfectly yesterday). Even the voice command from phone isn't working.
