Last night was the first night I tried to use the Firestick for CBS...the stream froze every 2 seconds or so (like a very slow stutter). Restarted the app, restarted the modem, restarted the Firestick...no difference. Works flawlessly on the Roku (on the same TV).
Last night HBO Now started fine (Game of Thrones!!) but started freezing every 10 minutes or so. after about 45 minutes, it through an error "unable to view content" (or something), and would not run HBO at all after that (again, Roku worked fine).
Just hooked up the new firestick 4k. Every app works except CBS All Access. Stutters through all programs. Works fine on my old gen2 firestick. Contacted Amazon tech support (somewhere in Bagldesh) no help from their side of the world. Said they have never heard of the problem(duh??)
Contacted CBS All Access.....yep same reply as I got from The other side of globe(duh??????)
Really!!! Are their techs that clueless!!!!!!
I traded in two Roku's to get a discount from Amazon for the new 4k Stick. I now know that I am the one that got the "STICK" right up the a_ _!
CBS all access is stuttering and not watchable. The only recourse is to pause the video and rewind it a little bit. Then it seems to come out of it. Even the commercials do the same thing but since you can't rewind them you have to sit and wait. Very annoying. Dont give me the old unplug the fire stick shtick (pun intended) because every single other app works fine. It's definitely CBS.
NOTE: I do NOT speak for or represent Amazon in any fashion. This is a customer to customer forum.

We are also having the CBS All access stuttering issue over the last 3 days when using the Fire TV. The buffering happens so often, it is not worth watching program. I tried pausing for a minute to allow the buffer to fill and got about 3-4 minutes of correct play, then the buffering started again. Buffering occurs after about 10 seconds of video.
All of my CBS all Access watching has been in the evening.
