Is there a way to see the OTA digital channel numbers (i.e. 4.3) in the Channel Guide? There are about 10 stations listed as PBS and I can't tell which is which.
I hope it's just a setting that I can't find. But, It's a probably necessary software upgrade. I know the info is in the box.
And for Alexa to recognize channel numbers.
Right now when I ask Alexa for a TV Channel number, it always thinks I'm asking for a radio station.
I just have some quick clarifying questions to help me get more information from you so one of our Forum Pros or regulars or myself can assist you further. How are you accessing your guide? Is it through your cable provider's app on the Fire TV or do you have a Fire TV Recast (the one that records)? Thanks in advance for answering with as many details as possible so myself or a peer can try and help further!
Also, welcome to the digital and device forums! Usually a peer or fellow customer has an amazing answer on here for any and all kinds of issues, so you're certainly in the right place for advice and guidance!

I just got my new Fire TV Recast. When I go to the DVR Manager and select Channel Guide. Each channel shows the network name, the call letters or something else that I don't always understand. I would find it useful to also have the channel numbers (i.e. 4.3) in the Channel Guide. Thanks, Sandra.
Several of us have asked Amazon to include channel numbers in the guide; however, that was not included in this weeks FireStick firmware update. The only thing I noticed about the new release is that the DVR/Recast Live shows are now in the recently viewed line of programs.
