I started recording survivor last week. Still having the same playback problem. I can stop the playback goto another live channel and go back to playback and it will play fine for a few minutes then become pixelated again. Watching live is fine.
Have you tried this yet?
"1. Rewind + left direction at the same time for 3 seconds, then release and press the menu button
2. An app will load, It may take a few seconds to load. Try again if not coming up after 10 seconds.
3. When the dialog is displayed, scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the network congestion optimizer checkbox. Uncheck the box to disable."
Started having a similar problem, that never existed before. When watching recordings the quality degrades after 5-10 minutes. Like it drops to a lower resolution. I can rewind or ff send it fixes it instantly, but only for another 5-10m. Recordings only
My pixilation issue with WUSA 9 (DC's CBS channel) was fixed several releases ago (late Jan or early Feb) and has not reappeared. It only appeared on the OTA TV 2 floors up from the WIFI router. Earlier issues with the Recast playback on all my TVs having pixilation was resolved around the same time. It had been so bad, I purchased a splitter and ran the OTA wires to all my TV's (had been setup for Direct TV which I have discontinued) and I purchased a 2nd dual band "spaceship" router. The issue has been resolved and I have yet to move my "spaceship" router to the first floor and it has been more than a month since I utilized the OTA signal to any of my TVs.
I have had exactly the same problem in Washington DC with channel 9.1. The solution that I used was to not go with the highest resolution. So instead of going with high DEF I went with medium death and that seems to have solved the problem.
