It has been less than a year. When the Recast was released in late November of 2018 and functionality has continually been added with it finally working for me after the early Feb fix. They followed it with USB hard drive support. Be patient. If Amazon were not supplying software releases I would then be concerned; however, releases have been more frequent than monthly for almost all their devices. I am certain they have a bug list that they are addressing. Communicate your frustration directly to Amazon to have your issue raised in importance.
