I have a fire stick with Alexa, and every time I try to play anything on prime, the sound cuts out every few second. It only last a few seconds at most, but it continuously does it, especially when a character is not actively speaking. I don’t have any speaker attached, and have already tried a hard reset and checking the hdmi.
My firestick just recently started doing this as well. I’ve got a Samsung tv and soundbar, which was all working fine until a couple days ago. I went through all the fire tv settings and didn’t see where I could update. Is anyone else having this problem? The sound is cutting out so frequently, that watching tv is just about impossible. And it’s with all content, not a specific app or channel.
I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried using different TVs in the house (Panasonic, Samsung & Hisense) but the sound continues to cut out while I’m watching Netflix and I know it isn’t the app itself. I thought it may have been because I’m using the 1st Firestick but I see people with the 4K are having the same problem. Has anyone found a solution?
I'm having the same issues. I have a Samsung TV and soundbar. The sound keeps going out and I have already replaced the Firestick once and now it's doing the same thing. This is getting very irritating. I'm tired of resetting the Firestick.
I am having garbled sound for the past 1 to 2 weeks (4K stick, Onkyo AV receiver, Onkyo 7.1 sound system). In my case I needed to turn everything off and then the sound would be normal (once it required 2 power downs before functioning properly). Note that I power off my FireStick each time my television is powered off and it does not happen on my other Fire Sticks (1 4K and 2 normal) which are not using a audio video receiver. This morning the sound was correct without needing to be powered off/on.
