I am have the same type of issue with my Fire Stick, except it is one specific show - The Office seasons 1 - 5. I have tried everything, clearing the cache, de-registering, going back to factory, nothing works. I have attached a picture of the message I get.
Well it works for other movies except the one I was just watching downstairs. It’s says “Watch with Free Prime for 30 Days”. All the other movies say “Watch with Prime” and I can watch them. Weird I can’t watch the one movie I want to watch even though it’s a Prime movie and I was just watching it on my other Firestick. Please figure this out Amazon.
Same here, all of the television series that I have purchased when I try to watch random episodes say i need to purchase. very annoying, spent 2 nights in a row on phone with amazon customer service , deauthorized fire stick/authorized it, reset it, etc. All play fine on my IPad. Been a member for many many years and this is the first major issue i have had with them. I was not as concerned over the amazon prime content but over content that I have paid money for that is a different story. they were not able to give me a time frame on a fix but said i might also lose any channels that i have subscribed to. At first the customer service rep wanted to refund my purchases and have me repurchase...not going to happen. I have neither the time nor the patience for that. Hoping they get everything fixed and running soon, and in some way compensate us for the major inconvenience this has been and continues to be.
I am also having the issue. Followed all steps reregister factory reset etc. and no improvement. I can watch on my phone but not on fire stick. Play with amazon free trial but will not play and i am a prime member. Does amazon acknowledge this issue? Are they working to resolve?
Just got of the phone with support this is an issue with ALL fireTV sticks in North America incl Canada where I'm from. The developers team is working on it and there is no known estimated time of repair and the issue started 2-3 days ago and is ongoing. In my case I got a message to watch NCIS with a free 7 day trial of "CBS all access" while I'm in Canada LOL don't reset anything as it's a waste of time and effort ;) Don't worry unless you are on a free trial like I am you will be credited for lost time and your content will be back ASAP.
thanks for the answers. Amazon get on this. Got same/similar problem. I was just started a Carnival row EP 1 yesterday. now today epsiodes 1-5 give 30 trial message, but episode 6 will let me watch. some similar with multiple series like the boys that I had finished.
This should not be marked resolved as many of us still have this issue. This started for me yesterday and still not able to watch prime video on fire stick tv. Please fix this, I'm forced to watch Netflix and your other competitors until you solve this.
No no no, this is far from resolved. I'm kind of glad to see it's just not me.
I have a fairly brand new Fire TV and this has been going on since yesterday. I like all of these people here are a paying subscriber to Amazon Prime and I cannot use something I'm paying for, for an entire 24 hours? This is pretty ridiculous.
Get it fixed. I tried everything listed here for fixing it, nothing works. It's on your guy's end.
I’m sick of it as well. Also they never get back with me on complaints. Canceling prime in morning if it does not work and also demanding a refund.! This is theft of services and Amazon is ignoring the problem. No statement on their site nor publicly much less responding to customers problems. What a joke operation Prime Video has becomes. Just gets crummier ever month and this is last straw.
