Does anyone know how to get Hoopla Audible through the Fire TV Stick (3rd Gen) ?
Since this is a 3rd party app I had to do a little research for us! Now there is some information I can help with, it looks like tv and movies are supported on Fire Stick, but I don't see any audiobook information. Here's what I found:
On Fire TV, instead of browsing and installing apps directly on your TV screen, you can use the Amazon app store to "send" applications to your devices. To install the hoopla app, first search for "hoopla" in the Fire TV app store or go directly there by clicking here.
On this screen, select the Fire TV device on which you’d like to install the app and click "deliver".
In a few moments, you should see the hoopla app. Keep in mind, to find the app, you may have to navigate to end of the "Your Apps and Games" section and click "See All." Once you find the app, you can press the option button to choose to move it higher on the list.
The first time you load the app on your Fire TV, you will be asked to go to https://www.hoopladigital.com/link and enter the 4-digit code provided. After entering the code, the hoopla app on Fire TV should be synced to your existing hoopla account. At this point, you will be able to browse and borrow movie and TV titles from the hoopla library as well as browse and borrow from your "favorites" list. Remaining borrows for the month (determined by your library) will be shown in the app.
How do I sync up my hoopla account with my Fire TV app?
1. Once the app is installed on your Fire TV, select it from your apps. 2. The app opens on our welcome screen. If you already have an account, click to open the next page. If you need an account and your local public library offers hoopla, click here to get started. Once you are signed up click to open the next page. 3. At the top of the next screen a 4-digit code is displayed. On another device, log in to our website using a mobile or desktop browser, and visit https://www.hoopladigital.com/link. OR Access the Settings page of your hoopla app and the section labeled “Link TV Device.” 4. Enter the 4-digit code from your TV screen and in a few seconds you are up and running on the hoopla Fire TV app. You can enjoy borrowing and watching movies and television episodes, as well as searching, browsing, and accessing your favorites.

I did read that Hoopla Audiobooks are supported on Alexa enabled devices! But I know you're asking about Fire Stick. I do hope this helps! Post back here and let us know if this works so others with a similar problem can use your post as a resource!

Thank you so much for responding. I was able to do all that you have given. I got as far as you have stated "Movies, Television, Favorites" with no Audiobooks available. So, I'm guessing I'm at the place where you have said "Support for audiobooks and music are coming soon".
I'll just have to wait it out for the update. Or, I can try and use my Alexa.... That should be another journey....
I found some more information for you from Hoopla and our skill site about Hoopla! You can enable it by going here when logged into your Amazon account or you can just ask Alexa. "Alexa, enable Hoopla" and this as well from Hoopla:
We have some exciting news to share. hoopla now supports Amazon Alexa devices!
Alexa joins hoopla’s existing lineup of popular apps for iOS and Android devices as well as popular streaming devices including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV. With Alexa, patrons can play borrowed audiobooks and music albums directly on the Amazon Echo, Dot, Spot, and Show devices.
To get hoopla onto their Alexa devices, patrons must add the hoopla “skill” (this is the Alexa equivalent of installing an app from the app store). The skill can be added to Alexa by searching for hoopla Digital on the Amazon website, or by clicking here.
When interacting with hoopla, Alexa requires patrons to phrase the command like this:
“Alexa, ask hoopla…”
For example, “Alexa, ask hoopla how many borrows I have remaining.”
Requests must start with “Alexa, ask hoopla…” If not, Alexa will not know to get the information from hoopla, and will instead return results from Amazon. A complete list of commands can be found on our FAQ page.
Can’t wait to share the news with your patrons? Click here for digital assets, including graphics for social media, email foots, and a 30-second video that shows Alexa and hoopla in action!
I hope this helps further! I've learned lots about Hoopla today too!
