My Firestick and other apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are working fine. But I just subscribed to CBS All Access. It shows the different shows / menu. But when I select a show (and I have tried a few), it can't load it and gives me an error message. I've let 24 hours pass and it still has a problem.
Update: I have now tried to use HBO Now as well, without success. Same issue - it shows the HBO menu of shows with current episodes. I select one, it tried to load and then gives me an error.

CBS All Access is having issues right now that they're working to resolve. It appears their servers are to blame and not our Fire devices. They say they're aware of the problem and working to fix it, but the latest issues arose on 1/20/2019 and are ongoing. Persistence tends to pay off. It takes me ten (or so) tries to get it to load, but eventually it does load. The problem exists across devices also, not just Fire devices.
our cbs all access works fine on roku, but does not play on any apple devices. Has been going on for months, so not impressed. Complaint Ticket was elevated two levels over a month ago, guess that means absolutely squat.
Unfortunately, we are subject to the application developers. Perhaps, the frequency and magnitude of the changes Amazon has made in the past 5 months has the application developers struggling to keep up. For me the FoxNews and the Hulu applications are not ready for prime time and I cringe when I switch to them and hope they work properly. Most of the time clearing the application cache appears to work. What me may need is a thread with applications that are problematic with the issues noted and a date so that those of us thinking to purchase an application and check and see if there are any current issues that may be show stoppers the way you plan to utilize the application. I am that way currently on renting movies and I am more inclined to purchase the Blue Ray/DVD than to get into rental issues.
I am having a similar problem with the Fire TV Stick and the CBS Access App. The show starts but the streaming is out of sync and the video hesitates. I check my internet speed and it is at 30 Mbps and I don't have the problem with the Android CBS App on a plain vanilla mini box. The problem is unique to the CBS App. All other streaming services work fine on the Fire TV Stick.
CBS definitely is having issues. Every commercial is buffering and when the shows come up the audio isn't syncing. Who do we complain to? Wonder if we all drop them if it will get the point across to get their s.... together.

I’ve had problems with CBS All Access over the past couple of years on a variety of FireTV products. Most recently was earlier last week on my FireTV Cube. Usually the problem has been the app either not loading or taking an unreasonably long time to load. But this most recent problem was really unusual. The show I was watching played without issues. But the commercials stuttered and the audio was choppy and garbled. Ran that way thru the complete show, every commercial break with the same problem but when it switched back to the show all was ok.
Yes I want to complain about this issue but I didn’t know where to send my complaint. Should I go to Amazon or should I go to CBS I don’t know. The app is sucking right now I am about ready to cancel my subscription. I can’t watch anything on it every time I turn it on it stutters and freezes. The problem is mostly on the Fire TV. I have fire stick in my bedroom and it seems to play OK on that for the most part. But I can’t seem to play it on the Fire TV. It plays for a second and then starts the stuttering.
I subscribed to this tonight and cancelled it ten minutes later because, if I paused what I was watching, it went back to the beginning of the program. This happened three times before I said, "Screw it."
