This morning I ran a test using DirectTVNOW with the Fire TV set at "good"......the lowest quality setting vs "best" and "better." Watched a 50 minute network news program. Data usage was almost at 3 GB. Am I correct in assuming that the quality setting only applies to...1. Amazon content.....2. perhaps movie and show content on Hulu, Netflix, etc. (but not the Hulu live tv option or any other live tv service)?
It appears to me that live tv through DTVNOW only transmits at full speed. The FIreTV quality setting is bypassed.
