I have disabled Prime Photos but the firestick is still downloading ~500GB of something which is using up valuable storage on my device. If I delete them ("clear data") they just come right back. Can this be stopped?
I have Prime Photos disabled on my Fire Stick; however, there is still a cache of about 370 MB and data of about 1 MB. Even if I clear data & cache to 0 and force stop the app, data & cache will return to the above figures. It might be the minimum operating requirements of the app even when disabled.
If you don’t think that’s it, did you try a force stop of the Prime Photos app? Or, you could try Settings > Device > Restart. Or, try unplugging then replugging the power cord of the Fire Stick.
