So my little brother is trying to install Disney + on his tablet but, the app won't finish installing. The progress bar seems to be filled and underneath it it says "installing". It's been like this for over a day. There doesn't seem to be a cancel button anywhere that I can see to try and reinstall the app. I've tried powering down/restarting the tablet, searching through his library of apps, as well as his currently downloaded apps in the settings. Even shutting off the wifi and putting it in airplane mode didn't do anything. I tried installing a different app to see if it would allow it to and it did. it didn't interfere with the stuck Disney +. I'm not sure if this is an issue specifically with the Disney + app or not. This is not so much as a major issue since he can still download other apps that he wants but it's still quite irritating. If appreciate any sort of resolution idea.

I am sorry you are having this issue with your brothers Fire Tablet.
To better assist you, can you tell us which Fire Tablet he has? If you not sure, you can look it up like this:
Open the Settings menu.
Select Device Options.
Your device model is listed under Device Model or About Fire Tablet.

Is he using a Child Profile? If he is, the app has to be sent from Amazon to the Adult Profile, then added to his profile from the Adult Profile.
Another problem could be the number of devices the Disney+ app has been added to from the same account. The limit is 10, and I'm not sure if having it downloaded to 2 profiles on the tablet counts as 2 devices. Once I finished installing it on the Child Profiles and made sure it was working I removed it from the Adult Profiles just in case. If I have to reinstall it for some reason I can send it again from my Amazon account.

You're welcome. Hope you've managed to get rid of it and have it sent to the Fire from Amazon again. When I had that problem, putting it in airplane mode then shutting the Fire all the way off worked to get rid of an app that wouldn't download. Also check to see if you have all the latest updates on your Fire. They sent some out recently.

Under device model it says "Fire HD 8 (8th generation)"
