I subscribed to Bon Appetit magazine and it will not download to my Kindle Fire Tablet. This is the first magazine that I have subscribed to. I have no problems with books downloading.
Hey Sharon32257! Welcome to the forums! I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with your magazine subscription on your Kindle Fire.
Let's try these troubleshooting steps:
Confirm that your device is connected to a wireless network. Check the status of your wireless connection. If your device is not connected to a wireless network, you cannot shop, buy or download content, or sync your device.
If you are trying to sync Kindle or Audiobook content, verify that Whispersync is enabled. From Manage Your Content and Devices, go to Settings, and then ensure that Device Synchronization (Whispersync Settings) is turned ON.
Sync your device. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Sync to ensure that your device is synced with the latest updates and content downloads. Note that larger content files may take a while to download to your device.
Verify that your payment method is valid. Your payment method may have been invalid when you purchased the content, which would prevent the content from syncing or opening on your device. From Manage Your Content and Devices, go to Settings. Under Kindle Payment Settings, select Edit Payment Method to view or update your 1-Click payment settings.
If the above actions did not resolve your issue, try these options:
Use Manage Your Content and Devices to deliver content to your device.Select the content you want to deliver, and then select Deliver. Select the device you want to send the content to, and then select Deliver to confirm.
Confirm that the content is supported by your device.
Some third-party apps may not be supported for use on Kindle Fire. Supported devices can be found on the app's detail page on the Amazon website.
If you are having trouble switching between an Audible audiobook and a Kindle book, verify that Whispersync for Voice is available for the title. Go to Whispersync for Voice-Ready for a list of books that support Whispersync for Voice, or go to the product detail page and check if the option to Activate Immersion Reading is available for your book.
Repurchase the content if necessary. If your payment method was invalid at the time you purchased the content title, you may need to repurchase the title in order for your purchase to go through. You will only be charged for the order that is charged to the valid payment method.
Restart your device. Press and hold the Power button for 40 seconds or until the device restarts automatically. If your device restarts automatically before 40 seconds has passed, release the Power button. If your device does not automatically restart after 40 seconds, press the Power button to turn it on.
Hope this helps! Please let us know if you need further assistance.
I just got my Fire 10 a few days ago, I also have never been in forum section. I just wanted to piggy back on the original post about magazines not automatically downloading/uploading (appearing on my home page). Sometimes the sync will trigger a magazine to show up; other times, a hard shut down and restart will trigger it. In either case, the auto delivered magazines are not functioning well...automatically. I have tried the troubleshooting steps you have suggested, but no luck. Thanks
Yes, actually that is what I have had to do as well, I just left that unsaid. So I restart, go to all and if I see a new item, I tap it to begin download. Also, in the Amazon site, under manage my subscriptions (not manage my content), it shows that I have no subscriptions. I have 14 or so
