The Amazon Fire HD 10 will not allow me to register with my account. I have removed 2-factor authentication and I have changed the password. Still does not work.
I factory defaulted the Amazon Fire HD 10 (7th generation). It still won't register.
Tried to do a Software Update from v5.3 to the latest, and it always says Update Failed. I tried to manually load the software from a USB cable using my PC, and it still says Update Failed.
The device is charged to 100%. It is on wifi successfullly. The timezone is correct, and the time is correct. It still will not register.
I tried to register using a New Account. Same issue, it will not register.
If the previous owner did not Deregister before Amazon Warehouse resold it, would that cause the Register error when I try to use the same serial number?
