Typing. I accidentally deleted a whole paragraph and normally I would just hit "Control" and z. But there is no control button on this keyboard. On the iPhone I could shake it and the undo option appears. On fire tablet I do....?

Wanta see a 4th? On any of your keyboards, if you have a tiny pair of scissors near the bottom left, hold it down. I did that accidentally, had no idea what the keyboard was for and found out on here that if I didn't do a lot of formatting, it wasn't really of any use to me.
I was going to ask what the tiny scissors to the left of the mic icon on the main keyboard are, because I'd tapped with ever smaller devices, including the tip of a ball point pen, and nothing ever happened. All of a sudden, I must have hit the scissors just right because it brought up a 4th keyboard I've never seen before. The 1st symbol on it is a pair of scissors that when tapped say CUT. There's another one that, when I touched it, printed a line of text in the block you use for the subject of a forum post. The text was from something I read about 4 hours and many web sites ago. This must be for some kind of text formatting. Or is it? Or what? Honestly, I do try to look up these things before coming on the forum. Thanks.
Pleeeeeease tell! Did you figure out my # from my old newbie questions? Or look for posts chewing me out for asking something that "has been discussed many times before." (I think that was the entire reply to my very 1st post/question.) Or find the thread where the Kurmudgeon called me a moron - one of my fondest memories - or just look for the "long-winded" ones (a very recent "critique" here)?
It was nice to see again how many people had been kind, generous, & helpful, & I hope/suspect some of those people are still on here but maybe using different screen names.
(Just did a bunch of editing & deleting. No need to perpetuate my delusional memories.)
