Echo Auto is connected via BT to my phone. I use the aux-in and power on my car, a 2001 MB SL500. Alexa responds to commands over the car stereo but she also tells me 'just so you know, audio will play on a device connected to your phone via Bluetooth". This happens simultaneously. I would like to have audio play over Aux out on Echo car. How can I reconfigure this?
i was able to get rid of this message! Before I blew my brains out!
1) Reset the device by holding down on the 'dot' button until it says resetting
2) Remove the device from the Amazon Alexa device
3) During setup I had to pick that I wanted audio not bluetooth (aux cable) and calls over bluetooth (even though I don't want calls over bluetooth)
Amazon: Please put an option in the settings of the Echo Auto to allow us to turn off the message, and for the record, what does it mean? I couldn't open my kids phone and see my phone as a bluetooth receiver to connect to, to allow my kid to play audio over the car... but that would be nice. What's it trying to say, it doesn't actually make sense "Just so you know".
