I have two Echo Plus 2nd gen speakers (yes, the combined stereo speakers sound amazing! I have to lower the volume when streaming - it's has very smooth bass and mid range without a shrilly high end).
Steaming in stereo is amazing!
Asking a question that has probably been posted several hundred times since the birth of Amazon Echos:
(1) Is there any work around to getting stereo from both speakers using an iPod and a 3.5 stereo cable?
Would it work with a 3.5 "Y" adapter with one cable for the right and the other for left stereo?
(1a) Does anyone have a hint of an idea if there are plans to implement this via a software update? I would think this would be an excellent way to double Echo speaker sales - buy two for streaming AND connected stereo audio!
(2) Along the same lines as my first question, is there any work around to get true Bluetooth stereo out of two exact year & model Echos?
I ask these endlessly asked questions because I am really looking to expand the value in having two Echo Plus 2nd gen speakers!
Thanks to all my Echolian brothers and sisters out there!
