My new Echo Dot can't "find" my AVR when it is paced in bluetooth mode. My iPhone and iPad can find/pair to the AVR in Bluetooth just fine. The receiver has compatible A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles which should be compatible with Echo Dot.
MAH = "My new Echo Dot can't "find" my AVR when it is paced in bluetooth mode. " & = "ECHO Dot can't "find"/pair to Onkyo TX-NR555"

Updated on the 29th-Dec-2018: As a result of careful consideration, we have decided that our DTS Play–Fi-enabled products including AVRs, sound bars and speakers will not be able to support ‘’The Amazon Alexa Connected APIs’’ through firmware updates, since it doesn't meet the specification that we expect to maintain appropriate performance.
Thank you for your reply. I might be wrong, but I think the Onkyo link has to do with voice control of Onkyo products by Amazon products, as opposed to bluetooth connectivity which is different. Excuse my ignorance if I am off base.
