There are clearly problems with this device! It will not play music at random times ("Sorry. I'm having difficulty playing music.") It also has other difficulties highlighted in this forum. Save your money until they get it fixed. I bought the gen 3 for the better sound, which it delivers. But you have to be able to get the music to enjoy it! My gen 2 still works just fine and Amazon is not forthcoming on steps being taken to resolve the problem.

I'm amazed at the number of people who expect a $20-$200 Alexa Devices to operate like a device from the year 3000 !!
