I have a number of Echo devices in the home that all stream Spotify without problem. But my Echo Auto will not. When I instruct it to play something, it says that the song is now playing, but, in fact, no music is played. What gives? (NOTE: I've seen other identical complaints posted on the Spotify website, complaining that Amazon has not been responsive on this issue).
FWIW for anyone following this. I have the spotify app signed in on the phone I use with Echo Auto, I tried this out of the blue last week and it started to work as expected. Looks like it's fixed, at least for me.

I have the same issue. Whether Spotify will play or not is like rolling a dice. It seems the command is sent to the app but the app does not open. It seems to start playing the song when I manually open the Spotify app. Very frustrating as this makes me anxious every time I use this skill...
