Apple Music has a stability issue when playing on a Music Group. I receive the “Sorry I am having trouble playing the music” notification during every play. This happens with both Apple currated and personal playlists. Sometimes it will work for multiple songs in a row but then it will eventually hit the issue and either stop playing all together, skip to the next song, or in some cases play the same song over and over. I’ve called Apple and Amazon support (each says it's the others issue), unplugged modem/router/echos, got a new modem/router, upgraded internet speed (500mbps), removed/re-installed skill, recreated music groups, changed Wi-Fi channels, ensured all echos are using the same frequency...nothing has helped. Very frustrating. Unfortunately we’re so very close to returning the two Echo pluses and two Echo dots we purchased for Christmas (also have and echo2 and show). Works fine on a single Echo device. Please help! Thank you!!!
After discussing the issue with Apple support it was eventually escalated and ultimately determined that there was an issue with the Apple Music skill. The skill was updated (impressively fast) and it works like a charm on all six of our Echo speakers!
