I too have been frustrated for a while but after reading this thread, I uttered "Alexa, what are my OLD notifications?" and it worked perfectly. However, it repeated just the one notification I received today. Also, I tried other word combinations without luck!
"Thank you" to everyone that has shared this information on this forum!
Dozens of people here have asked for notifications to be repeatable for well over a year. It can't be that hard to change the software since notifications are stored in the archives for a week. Yet all we get are "yes that's a great idea, we love customer suggestions" from Amazon. Sounds like the truth is we're just being blown off. How about telling us when this service is actually going to happen? Thanks. ( I have a bet with myself on what the reply is going to be.)
I have also been frustrated at the inability to repeat a notification. I found this thread and tried the "Alexis, what are my old notifications?" within a few minutes of playing the original notification and not hearing it due to ambient noise. It repeatedly responded "No new notifications." Then I went to another room and tried it on an Echo Show (1st generation) and it responded, "I'm sorry, there was a problem."
A few minutes later, I tried to ask about "old notifications" on the first device and it played the notification again.
It would be helpful if notiifications could be replayed / accessed in a more intuitive, user-friendly way.
